Tennis ad Alassio

Alassio is home to one of Italy’s historic tennis clubs.

The Hanbury Tennis Club Alassio was founded in 1923. It has 7 clay courts, set in a 12,000 m² secular park. Tournaments and events at international level are regularly held here.

Golf Club Garlenda

Surrounded by a green belt of ancient olive groves and pine forests, it is located in the Lerrone valley, one of the most evocative and picturesque of the Ligurian hinterland. The 18 holes of the course, opened in 1965, were designed by architects Morrison and Harris and blend harmoniously into the landscape without altering its environmental characteristics. From a technical point of view, the course, which has a length of 6085 metres and a par of 72, is, from the championship tees, a difficult test for the most talented players and a pleasant challenge for golfers with a higher handicap from the normal starts. The view from the highest holes is formidable: the gaze embraces a scene that goes from the sea to the Maritime Alps.

Gallinara Island is a small island visible from Alassio, which has become a Regional Nature Park thanks to its rare Mediterranean vegetation and unspoilt environment. The Mediterranean vegetation and pristine environment of Gallinara Island, which is a small island visible from Alassio, have made it a Regional Natural Park. From spring to autumn, you can participate in sea excursions to explore the Island. Boats leave from the Porto Ferrari of Alassio, which is right in front of the island, which is one of the most intriguing diving areas.
